Website Email Privacy Policy

This page explains the Google mail connection used by the Absolute Custom Blinds website email service. It covers this connection, rather than every feature of our website or the shop’s other records.

What the connection accesses

The connection requests Google’s permission to send email on behalf of our mailbox. Outgoing messages include the recipient address, subject, message content and any included attachments. The connection does not request permission to read, search or delete existing Gmail messages.

How the information is used

We use the connection to deliver website inquiries and related operational messages through Google. We do not use data obtained through this connection for advertising, sell it, or use it to train artificial intelligence models. Our use of Google user data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Where information goes

The website sends outgoing mail to Google’s Gmail service for delivery to the intended recipients. FluentSMTP software manages the connection on our website. Its fluentsmtp.com authorization callback is used during account setup to return Google’s authorization code. Google processes account and delivery information under its own privacy policy.

Storage and access

When connected, the website stores its Google connection credentials and access tokens encrypted in the WordPress database. It does not store the Google account password. Authorized website administrators can manage the connection. Protected website backups can include the encrypted settings.

The mail plugin is configured to retain delivery logs for 14 days before routine cleanup. Website inquiry records and messages already delivered to a mailbox are separate records; disconnecting Google does not delete those messages or inquiries.

Your control and questions

The mailbox owner can revoke this connection in Google Account connections. Revoking permission prevents further sending through that connection. Contact brian@archifx.com for help disconnecting the website or removing its saved connection settings. For questions about a submitted inquiry, contact our shop.

Optional visit details with your inquiry

You can use the visit-details controls at the bottom of our website to allow or turn off this feature. Your choice is remembered in this browser for 30 days. You can still send us a message when visit details are off.

If you allow visit details, we keep a short record in this browser tab of pages you visit on our website, the link or button you use to reach our form, the referring website, and campaign or click details provided in the link that brought you here. We also include the page title, browser and device type, screen size and time on the form page. We start recording after you allow the feature; we do not reconstruct an earlier visit. The visit record expires after 30 minutes of inactivity and ends when the browser tab is closed.

When you send an inquiry, the recorded visit details are saved with your message and included in the email to our shop. They help us understand your request and which website links are useful. We do not use this feature to collect precise location or your activity on other websites. We keep only recognized campaign fields and our own page paths, rather than full query strings. Details may be unavailable or incomplete, and a recorded click identifier does not itself prove an advertising result.

Turning visit details off clears the visit record from this browser tab and stops it being included with later inquiries. It does not erase an inquiry you already sent. For questions about an existing inquiry, contact our shop. These controls cover this optional inquiry feature; they do not change separate services already used by the website.
